มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้เป็น Consortium ของ SEARCA แล้วโดยได้ทำการชำระค่าธรรมเนียมหารเข้าร่วมเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว  นอกจากนี้ยังได้ ทำกิจกรรมร่วมกับ SEARCA หลังจากเป็นสมาชิกเมื่อเดือน มกราคม 2564 ได้รับเชิญให้เป็น เป็น Plenary Speaker ในการประชุมวิชาการ The Food Systems Summit 2021  Breaking Silos “Transforming Agri. Education and Research Toward Sustainable Food Systems in Southeast Asia” โดย บรรยายในหัวข้อ “Education: Innovative Curricular Program and Pedagogical”  จัดโดย  The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA), The Philippines เมื่อวันที่ 18 พฤษภาคม 2564
